Drombeg at Night

‘Twas a cold and windless night when a group of hardy souls ventured out to Drombeg and the ancient stone circle. A waxing moon lit up the monoliths and provided an eerie light by which to take our photographs….

The plan was to take a variety of different photos of the stone circle;

  • moonscapes; i.e. the circle lit by moonlight alone
  • painted light; i.e. using a torch to light the stones or a laser light to paint on them
  • flaming steel wool; i.e. have someone stand in the circle and whirl around a whisk stuffed with burning steel wool

The results can be seen in the gallery below, some of which are quite spectacular!

Thanks to Patricia for supplying the flaming steel wool equipment and to Patricia again, and Noreen for the tea and coffee afters.
