On the 14th of May, The Surf Turf ‘n’ Tar race in Rosscarbery was back, after 2 years of cancellations because of Covid-19.
Surf Turf ‘n’ Tar is a multi-terrain race, running on roads, beaches, forests and trails. For participants, there are two distances to choose from, 10K or half marathon. This year’s race was the fourth. 209 runners finished the half marathon, while 408 runners finished the 10K race.
