POTY review

This year’s POTY entries were based around the theme, I Spy with My Little Eye Something Beginning With… and then each member had to choose 3 of A, E, I, O or U as their subject. Members had to take one colour and one mono photo plus one other. The entries were judged by Suzanne, Sinead and Finbarr from Fermoy Camera Club and we are most grateful to them for their time, expertise and detailed and constructive feedback on every entry. Thankyou.

The overall winner was Geoff who again demonstrated his exceptional creativity and is once again a deserved winner of this award.

Cathleen was the winner of the Grade 2 POTY demonstrating her developing skills with a camera. Cathleen’s winning entry can be seen below:

The judges were also asked to pick an overall colour and overall mono winner from all the entries.

Cathleen won the colour section with her photo Escape To.. (see above). Simon won the mono section with his image, Attitude.

This evening we were able to give the feedback from the judges which was well received and appreciated by all who attended. Some of the other entries are shown in the gallery below.
